Actalent is currently hiring for a Sr. Interior Designer to support a local Architecture firm to Columbus, OH. You will be responsible for the overall management of all assigned interiors projects including management of client and team members assigned to projects, marketing, scheduling, and budgeting. You will also assist with business development and marketing efforts and office leadership.

Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
• Direct interior design staff within project team and assign specific tasks to keep project on track.
• Work with client and design team to develop interior finishes and/or space planning that compliment the architectural design.
• Oversees completion of project documents for all phases of assigned projects.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Complete performance appraisals for interior design staff when applicable.
• Support organizational efforts to retain new clients and/or projects through marketing research, strategic communications, and strategic planning.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Prepare contracts and adhere to internal project budgets; work with Accounting to complete monthly billings
• Miscellaneous administrative duties associated with projects as needed or assigned.

As an Actalent consultant you will be a W2 employee of Actalent supporting the Architecture firm and after supporting the firm for 9 months, you have the opportunity to transition to the Architecture firm as their employee. Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in architecture, interior design, or space planning
• NCIDQ certification
• Proficient within Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
• 8 years of experience as an Interior Designer for commercial related projects (not residential)
