HIRING NOW: Quality Lab Technician (3rd shift)

Calling all Quality Professionals - Our client in Evansville is looking to add a passionate and knowledgeable Quality Lab Technician to their team! If you're fascinated by high quality, advanced polymers, custom thermoplastics, and various compounds intended for a wide variety of applications in construction and industrial projects, this would be perfect for you! This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals looking to gain valuable experience within Quality Control and Assurance, as our client strongly values personal and professional growth/development. While working this opportunity, you can expect to report onsite Monday through Friday, from 12:00-8:30am with a starting rate of $19/hr! While working this opportunity, you'll have the chance to learn and master several valuable Quality-Industry skillsets. You'll be entrusted to complete the following:

Daily Duties:

• Conduct quality control and quality assurance testing on incoming products, raw materials, in process products, and finished goods.
• Responsible for completing all necessary quality documentation and accurately recording in the quality management system.
• Provide support to production overseeing GMPS and quality processes.
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data and reporting.
• Match and adjust color or product as needed
• Some testing includes: melt flow testing, viscosity, pH, thermal testing, impact testing, tensile testing, friction testing, thickness testing, color testing, etc.

**Training will be on first shift for several weeks (8am-430pm)**

Must Haves:

1) High school diploma or Equivalent Required ***Associates or Bachelors Degree in Scientific Field Preferred***

2) Quality, Manufacturing, or Laboratory Experience Preferred

3) Plastics/Polymer Manufacturing Experience Preferred (ex: plastics lab testing, plastic manufacturing, color testing/matching experience, etc.)

**Must have ability to perceive and discern colors**
