Job Description:
- Design of mechanical systems including: heating, cooling, heat rejection, air and hydronic distribution systems, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation and controls.
- Perform system design calculations and analyze mechanical system options with industry standard engineering and energy modeling software.
- Knowledgeable with all relative building codes and standards.
- Prepare design documents to detail the mechanical systems in basis of design report and specification formats.
- Review design deliverable assurance of technical accuracy and presentation quality.
- Coordinate work with architect and engineers of other disciplines.
- Manage projects for timely technical delivery and day to day liaison with design and client team.
- E.I.T (Engineering in Training)
- P.E (Professional Engineer) -Highly preferred
- Revit Experience5 Years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer (5-15 Year range)
- Experience with AutoCAD (Revit is a plus) 80% of their projects is within AutoCAD
- Project type experience include healthcare, data centers, central plants, municipals, etc.
- Familiar with ASHRAE Standards and LEED certified
- E.I.T (Engineering in Training) preferred
- P.E (Professional Engineer) -Highly preferred
- Revit Experience preferred
