Description:

This team will be auditing entire system installed by integrator to ensure it has all markings and safety requirements clearly labeled in preparation for turnover to end client. Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude are required. The team will be inspecting the entire conveyor line, between 10-27 miles of conveyor usually spread over 2-3 tiers. Checking emergency stops, protective guards installed, bolts tightened, signs clearly marked and installed and various other mechanical and safety items where they are supposed to be according to spec. Also using laser measuring devices and levels to ensure proper spacing, leveling and detentions of the conveyor system.• Quality insurance focused to help deliver a quality and free from defect site to its customer.• Constant contact with all sites on an ongoing basis to help alleviate any recurring issues.• Removal of superseded drawing packages from installation crews, contact with engineering teams to maintain proper DWG revisions.• Conducting a recurring walkthrough of the system to ensure compliance with most recent revisions of engineering design documents/drawings.• Supply of proper engineering documentation on regular basis.• Compliance of installation testing (netwon pull testing for estops, sonic belt testing for lifts, racking and structural torque testing etc.)• Support the PM’s and SM’s in term of 3rd set of eyes recurring for upcoming schedule deviation issues.• Physical inspection and walk through of: Cable Management, Guarding, Belt Condition and tracking, Conveyor flatness/straightness and level, E-stop pull cord tensioned properly, ECC/DMC covers on, Ensuring that ME/EI are doing trash removal, Bolts tightening/loose hardware removal.• Usage of Ozark system along with cross functional team.• Weekly reports would be produced • Focus on visual inspections of the top 3 MI, EL and safety issues discovered by Amazon IOQ• Need to use the product manuals, and unit check lists and continuously audit the install teams are using latest revision drawing set to perform installation work

Ability to go up and down stairs, climb over and under conveyors and bending are all required to execute this work. Strong Mechanical/maintenance technicians are preferred.
