Description:

• 3rd Shift: 9:45pm – 8:15am, will start on 1st for training (about a month long)

Day to Day Duties:

This group tests the end product and they support all product lines (cameras, headlamps, etc)

- Look at the schedule to see what types of tests need to be run

- Read how to do test and understand test procedure - VERY IMPORTANT that they read the test procedures in the EMC test plans as this will outline what procedures and standards to follow as well as what the acceptance criteria is for the test

- Review the test plan

- Perform the test - Main tests are Emissions testing (how electromagnetically noisy the product is) and Immunity testing (blasting a disturbance to see if it "mis-behaves" and know what signals are being monitored and what the acceptance levels for these signals are)

- Summarize and write the test reports

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST Haves:

- Electronics troubleshooting experience

- Automotive electronics experience

- For candidates with experience they must have worked in an automotive lab environment (this is if you have a technician background)

- For candidates with experience they must have experience working with oscilloscopes (i.e. what triggering have you done on oscilloscopes?)

- For candidates w/ less experience they must have a passion for electronics (i.e. take apart game electronics, work on electrical parts of a car, etc)

- Must be able to read drawings or schematics in order to perform tests

- Must have examples of where they have displayed initiative in the past - Verify with References

- Candidate must have a strong work ethic, show up on time, and display an eagerness to learn and grow in the role - Verify with References

- Must have experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and navigating Windows
