Construction Project Manager/Estimator

Job Description:

Our client specializes in both new construction and interior renovations such as, embassies, multi family, commercial and interior fit outs. The Project Manager or Estimator is responsible for the oversight of the estimating or preconstruction process for assigned projects. Assists in establishing and maintaining standardized procedures, methods and processes for estimating and training estimating personnel in the use of the same. Maintains relationships with subcontractors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 to 10 years experience
• When asked works with executives to determine suitability of potential projects using bid matrix and review of documents.
• Responsible for production of budgets and estimates on assigned projects.
• Assign trades to estimating team. Create and distribute scopes of work to subs and review scopes of other team members.
• Prepare for and conduct handover meetings on all successful projects to ensure that the operation team has full knowledge and understanding of how the estimate was prepared.
• Responsible for maintaining estimating schedule for assigned projects including requesting additional resources when necessary.
