Overview:
Our client, a well-known and established engineering, surveying, and planning firm, seeks a Project Manager in Water Resources to join their growing team. The ideal candidate for this role will lead a wide variety of water resources related projects involving both hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis, flood hazard identification and mitigation, FEMA studies, area drainage master studies and plans, sediment yield, river mechanics, transportation drainage and stream stabilization design among others. The candidate will lead a team, mentor staff, review engineering calculations, supervise planning development and production of construction documents as well as prepare and design reports and exhibits. This firm needs a professional who will also conduct quality control reviews of 1D/2D computer models, floodplain mapping, watershed planning, stream stabilization, closed conduit systems, hydraulic structures, and open channel designs. The ideal candidate must have a passion for water resources and engineering. This is a long-term, direct hire role located in Phoenix, Arizona.
