The Area Manager will be responsible for the daily oversight and development of a remote field team of Technology Sales Advisors within a designated geographic territory. This role, reporting directly to our Sony North America Program Manager, will ensure a standard of excellence in the regional execution of all training, sales performance, and relationship building initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion consumer technology, a motivating drive for delivering quality sales interactions and results, and some experience managing a multi-unit sales team. Execute strategies to achieve sales program KPI targets, maximize revenue, and enhance market share Manage sales performance of assigned representatives, striving to execute above quotas Function as a single point of contact for the Sony team within the assigned region Conduct final interviews with recruited candidates to make staffing decisions Manage training completion, coaching efforts, and other development interventions of assigned field representatives Establish and cultivate strong relationships and communication channels with Regional Sony Supervisors, Store Managers, and ActionLink Leadership Other assignments as requested by the client and ActionLink Leadership **Qualifications** Must live in the Dallas Texas area 3 years of goal-based sales experience Previous experience managing a field sales team in a remote multi-unit environment Consumer electronics industry experience strongly preferred Possess solid business knowledge related to sales execution strategies, market analysis, and client relations Persuasive interpersonal skills with ability to foster relationships at multiple levels Proven track record of demonstrating strong critical thinking skills Able to travel 50% of the time (locally and/or by plane as needed) to conduct in-store field visits throughout assigned region Home office space with reliable high-speed internet connectivity and a phone Able to work Thursdays through Mondays Equal Opportunity Employer
