Acorn Dentistry for Kids is Hiring a Dental Office Receptionist Near Hillsboro, OR

Benefits

  • $19-$22/hour DOE

About the role

Our Front Desk Clinic Coordinator team members are critical to Acorn Dentistry for Kids success and treatment of patients. They are the first faces patients see and they set the tone for each appointment. The Care Coordinator team members are expected to be friendly and engaging with patients and be knowledgeable about the services provided by Acorn. The Care Coordinator works hand in hand with the Dentists, Clinic Coaches, Dental Assistants, and Sterile Technicians to ensure smooth and successful appointments.

A day in the life

On any given day at Acorn Dentistry for Kids, our Clinic Coordinator can expect the following:

  • Arrive prior to 7:30 am to prepare for the team morning huddle (prior to 5:00 am on general anesthesia days).
  • Working with in a driven team with 1 – 4 other Care Coordinator team members depending on the clinic.
  • Connecting with patients ages 1 – 17.
  • Working in an office with a coaching culture and a growth mindset.
  • Treating every patient with dignity and empathy as if they are your own family.
  • Checking in/out between 30 and 80 patients each day depending on the clinic.
  • Interfacing with patients through phone, email, and other platforms in a professional manner.
  • Multitasking between different roles at the same time.

Next steps

Acorn Dentistry for Kids conducts initial phone interviews, and then we invite our top candidates into our clinics to observe our team at work. We believe in absolute transparency, and we want to make sure our positions are a fit for both us and the candidate. Upon hire there will be up to a week of paid training at our Clinic Support Office in Silverton, OR.
