DETAILS: ACI Worldwide is looking to fill one Sr. Site Reliability Engineer position to be based out of / report to its Elkhorn, Nebraska office located at 6060 Coventry Drive, Elkhorn, Nebraska 68022 (may telecommute from home residence in the U.S. but must live and work in Eastern or Central Time Zone 100% of time). Job Summary: Position is embedded directly with ACI Worldwide product teams, working closely with them to design, code, test, run, and evolve the systems that help people around the world make payments. Works closely with ACI Worldwide teams to drive adoption of modern reliability practices like SLOs, error budget policies, actionable alerts, follow-the-sun on-call, incident retrospectives, chaos testing, and end-to-end ownership. Job Accountabilities: Design, develop, deploy, and motivate the creation of software and systems to increase product reliability and organizational efficiency. Guide reliability practices through the entire software development lifecycle through activities like architecture reviews, code reviews, creating platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and chaos testing. Maintain service health through monitoring and follow-the-sun incident response. Improve service reliability through blameless post-incident reviews and using code to prevent or respond to problem recurrence. Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Worldwide Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related Information Technology field and 10 years’ progressively responsible experience in an IT-related position consistent with this request. Experience must include the following specific experience and skills:
