PROJECT MANAGER

Ace Fabrication is a growing design, engineering and fabrication company supporting the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. We are seeking a Project Manager to manage multiple projects including the fabrication and installation of custom stainless steel components in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and oversee mechanical construction projects of various sizes and complexity.
• Work with the client (internal or external) to define the project scope, schedule, deliverables, risks and expectations that are considered to deliver a successful project.
• Build and maintain strong customer relations with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal customers.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment through maintaining safety meetings, incident investigations, and employee involvement.
• Review, submit and track shop drawings and submittals.
• Provide cost and schedule impacts for any changes or additions to scope of work.
• Help estimators to develop quotes and compile cost breakdowns for the client to review.
• Provide schedules and track daily production.
• Work with the engineering team to design and engineer projects.
• Communicate and coordinate with client through design, engineering and fabrication phases of projects.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Construction Management or related field is preferred but not required, or significant related experience in Project Management.
• 5 years of relevant project management work experience in engineering, fabrication or construction.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with multiple projects of varying size and complexity
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience as a Project Manager working on healthcare / life science projects preferred
• Ultimately the most successful candidate will be highly organized and a great communicator

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
