Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

Supervise and provide guidance to the accounting team.

Ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial transactions.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Provide financial analysis and support to other departments as needed.

Collaborate with other department heads to develop and implement financial policies and procedures that align with organizational goals.

Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.

Monitor cash flow and manage cash balances to ensure that the company has sufficient funds to meet its obligations.

Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting documents.

Prepare and present operational reports to VPs and CEO.

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Manage the month-end close process and assist with year-end close process.

Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.

Manage relationships with external auditors and other financial partners.

Stay up to date on industry developments and changes in accounting regulations.

Review financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for clients and management.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

5-10 years of experience in accounting.

4-6 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

CMA, and CPA are required.

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.
