Perfetto Contracting Co Inc is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Brooklyn, NY
- Serve as the corporate accountant, responsible for preparing financial statements on the corporate side.
- Review and audit financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Handle journal entries, accounts payable (A/P), and process cash receipts. This includes overseeing invoice processing.
- Manage books and internal accounting processes. While bookkeeping skills are expected, they should come as second nature.
- Utilize your experience in subsidiary and general ledger accounting to maintain accurate financial records.
- While not required, prior experience in construction manufacturing will be advantageous.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data and reports.
- Manufacturing/construction industry experience is required, and one must have the skills to be eligible.
- Must be comfortable commuting to Brooklyn, NY (Sunset Park) on a hybrid model for the hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.
- Experience working with any ERP softwares - Viewpoint Vista experience a plus.
- Proven experience in accounting roles, with demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audit, and general accounting functions.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, along with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Employee accrue 8 vacation days or 64 hours each anniversary
- 7 Sick days or up to 56 hrs. - Based upon NYC guidelines
- After 90 days of employment you will be entitled to Medical, Dental and Vision insurance. The company pays 80% of Medical only
