We are actively hiring a Data Scientist to join our Defense & Homeland Security Division on a newly awarded, 5-year contract based in the Fort Meade area. The FIRST of the Next Generation Analysis Contracts has been awarded. This multi-year contract needs you to fill positions as mathematicians, data scientists, engineers, collection managers and analysts. As a Data Scientist, your responsibilities will include the following: RESPONSIBILITIES Designing / implementing machine learning
Data science
Advanced analytical algorithms
Programming (skill in at least one high-level language (e.g., Python))
Statistical analysis (e.g., variability, sampling error, inference, hypothesis testing, EDA, application of linear models)
Data management (e.g., data cleaning and transformation)
Data mining
Data modeling and assessment
Artificial intelligence, and/or
Software engineering
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Experience in one or more area is strongly preferred; Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience. Associate’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.

Operations Research
Computer Science
A broader range of degrees will be considered if accompanied by a Certificate in Data Science from an accredited college/university.
Degree and minimum years of relevant work experience as follows
AA and 10 years of experience or,
BA/BS and 8 years of experience or,
MA/MS and 6 years of experience or,
PhD and 4 years of experience
