Position Summary: The Accessioning/Archival Technician includes selecting, appraising, arranging, and describing permanent records through the Archival process of accessioning. Records are appraised using established records disposition schedules, and the records are then arranged adhering to the Archival principles of original order and provenance. The records are then housed in preservation quality folders and containers and accessioning is completed when the records are described, according to professional standards, in the archival database. This role also includes arranging and prioritizing records for eventual declassification and transfer to the National Archives and Records Administration. Essential Duties: Preparing and presenting performance reviews Performing accessioning or data entry in a library or similar document management organization
Performing document check-in, check-out, process initiation, document preparation, scanning, capture quality control, reconstruction, indexing, index quality control, rework, correspondence preparation, and handling as applicable Represent activities in daily status and periodic process improvement meetings where they presented the status of their activities, articulating problems, and recommending solutions or experience in equivalent work
Read and assimilate information and use it to make timely accurate decisions

Requirements: An active/current TS/SCI CI or FS Polygraph
Qualifications: High School Diploma
2-4 years experience performing the duties of the position Prior experience in one or more fields requiring meticulous preparation, proof reading, or dissemination of documents or the operation of complex equipment basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time Ability to communicate effectively
