Recruiting Specialist
The Recruiting Specialist is a critical role in the Human Resources department at Guardian Access Solutions. This Specialist is responsible for assisting our Talent Acquisition Specialist in the overall hiring for the company, including performing administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s Human Resource department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Monitors and reviews applications within the company’s Applicant Tracking System
  • Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; including internal and external job postings
  • Creates relationships with potential employees by reaching out via phone, email, or through the ATS, to determine qualification and interest level
  • Conducts initial phone screens for a variety of open positions including administrative, accounting, sales, service, and warehouse roles
  • Takes adequate notes in order to provide overviews of applicants to Hiring Managers
  • Ensures ongoing communication with the Human Resources team concerning talent acquisition and the onboarding of new hires
  • Assists in coordinating recruitment projects and associated services by providing support
  • Attends and participates in job fairs, community activities, and other public recruitment-related events
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of recruitment as well as compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Represents Guardian Access Solutions in a professional and positive manner in all interactions, including networking events and other activities during and outside of normal business hours
  • Demonstrates strong customer service and collaborates seamlessly within a team setting
  • Exhibits regular attendance at work and provides appropriate flexibility
  • Other job-related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2-3 years of previous experience in high volume recruiting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledgeable and familiar working in an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Proven ability to be a self-starter, work independently, and work as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as ability to multitask
  • As a condition of employment, employer will conduct a background check and drug screen prior to hire
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to understand, speak and write English
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelors Degree is preferred

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a fast-paced office, attached to a warehouse setting with frequent interruptions. Occasional need to travel to other locations as necessary.
