As Data Engineer Specialist, you will work with a marketing analytics team and support ETL and ELT processes by creating custom API's and Lambda functions to collect data from vendors across the marketing ecosystem. You will be focused on implementation of ETL architecture, data pipelines, and Source to Target mapping to load data into a data warehouse from various source systems.

This Data Engineer Specialist will be combining industry best practices, and creativity for advertising and marketing analytics (across industries, and verticals). It is essential to produce compelling data stories that will help our clients and internal teams drive rapid data and analytics driven decisions for the greatest return on marketing investment. This Data Engineer will support a diverse project pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with data scientists and machine learning engineers to integrate AI models and algorithms into production-grade systems.

• Implements data quality and governance processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data used in AI applications.

• Implementation of ETL architecture, data pipelines, and Source to Target mapping to load data into a data warehouse from various source systems (API's, S3, Snowflake, flat files, etc.) using Matillion ETL/ELT.

• Develops in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, and business uses to ensure reports meet client needs

• Extracts & analyzes data from multiple data sources to identify known and unknown data relationships and patterns.

• Researches and evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance data engineering capabilities and support Gen AI requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software or data engineering.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in digital marketing.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with software such Matillion, Snowflake or similar software.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data Engineering best practices, design patterns, building highly scalable and secured solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or similar field.

• Passion for data, knowledge of SQL and/or ETL tools; hands-on experience integrating and modeling data for reporting and analytics use cases.

• In-depth knowledge around best practices in data engineering and the presentation of information, analytics for media, audience, and cross-channel insights.

• Proven experience in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes, with a focus on AI and machine learning applications

• Able to work under pressure with a solid sense for setting priorities.

• Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.

• Demonstrated face to face experience with Executive Level Customers (Internal or External) with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.
