Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services is looking for a software engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD with opportunities for a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
• Diagnose Kubernetes issues, CI/CD issues, application issues and assist customers with their deployment troubleshooting

Must Haves:

• 20 years of software engineering experience
• Experience with DevOps Engineering
• Experience with Atlassian Tools, Helm Charts, Kubernetes ELK stack, Terraform
• Experience with back-end databases (MongoDB, MySQL)
• Experience with scripting languages, Python and JavaScript
• BS in a technical discipline or an additional 4 years software engineering experience, in lieu of a degree

Security Clearance:

• TS/SCI with Polygraph

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:

California: $173,500 - $322,900

Colorado: $173,500 - $279,100

New York: $160,700 - $322,9000

Washington State: $184,900 - $297,000
