Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pricing Analyst with experience in Request for Proposal (RFP) processes to join a client in Durham. As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on financial data and supporting the RFP process to ensure accurate and competitive pricing proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, cost analysis, and RFP management, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and report on cost data to support pricing decisions, cost reduction initiatives, and profitability analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including reviewing RFP requirements, preparing cost models, and ensuring compliance with financial and contractual obligations.
• Provide financial analysis and support for new business opportunities, including pricing strategies and profitability assessments.
• Monitor and analyze production costs, and other related financial data.
• Work with Controller and CFO to review and update financial reports, including variance analysis, cost trends, and budget vs. actual performance.
• Participate in the development and implementation of cost accounting policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to cost accounting and RFP pricing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
• 2-5 years as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, or similar role, with a strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
• Demonstrated experience managing RFP processes, including cost modeling and proposal development.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, cost estimation, and variance analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Oracle-NetSuite or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
