Job Description
Job Title Tax Manager
Location – Boca Raton,FL
Type/Duration: Direct Hire/Permanent
- Client is looking for someone to manage Tax "department" . This role would have 1 direct report
- They would be responsible for all client year end tax processing of 1099's and review tax filings for clients that are done by a 3rd party.
- CPA certified.
- Experience in the Financial Services/Brokerage Industry.
- Strong understanding of brokerage tax reporting 1099’s.
- Experience managing escalation and handling complex tax inquiries from clients.
- Take on critical tax reporting projects and manage operation risk.
- Assist in ensuring delivery of accurate tax forms to client.
- Ensure accurate tax reporting.
- Review tax returns for clients, owners, completed by a 3rd party.
- Understanding of Cost Basis processing and Apex Silver system a plus.
