Description
As a Service Desk Technician on AbeTech’s Professional Services team, you will be responsible for providing Tier 1 remote support for AbeTech’s clients, internal systems and users. Support of mobile devices across the Android, Windows and Apple operating systems being utilized in manufacturing, distribution and warehouse environments.
Candidates will:
- Use remote support tools to provide phone support to clients
- Proactively manage support across multiple tickets within our systems
- Provide mobile device management support remotely
- Remotely provide support to WLAN environments
- Provide support, design and install with SOTI MobiControl
- Assist with Technology planning through ongoing research
- Maintain AbeTech’s Service Level Agreement of 4 hour response time
Requirements
Required Education:
- Technical degree preferred
- 1-3 years of equivalent technical experience or education
Required Skills:
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize work
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Above average technical aptitude
- Ability to adapt to best practices
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting abilities
- Have confidence under pressure
- Take ownership of user problems and be pro-active when dealing with user issues
- Ability to learn and stay current on AbeTech’s rapidly evolving services offerings
- Strong sense of teamwork in all efforts
