ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Facilities Technician.The Facilities Technician is expected to perform a wide variety of duties to maintain, repair and install equipment and physical structures.

Performs minor electrical repairs, plumbing maintenance, carpentry repairs, HVAC maintenance and repairs. Supports Special Events when necessary by moving tables, chairs, bleachers and similar activities.

Responds to emergency situations during and after hours.The Company may require that the successful candidate hired for this position be fully-vaccinated for COVID-19, if and to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Essential Functions :

• Demonstrated working knowledge and experience performing the following :
• Plumbing
• HVAC Systems
• Refrigeration
• Electric -LOTO / safety procedures, respectable replacements, ballast change-outs
• Carpentry
• Paint
• Mechanical - pumps, equipment
• Fire Life Safety - Basic working knowledge of fire protection hydraulic system and fire protection alarm system.

Fire Alarm, Wet and Dry Suppression Systems

Ability to effectively present information to departmental management, employees, tenants, and outside contacts

Minimum Requirements :

• 3 5 years of experience in commercial property,
• multi-unit residential and / or related facilities maintenance role.
• Utilizes CMMS and ECOWISE systems (BMS) to efficiently manage facility operations.
• Responsible for the integrity of information in these systems and databases and ensuring these tools are fully utilized.
• Safety Certification / Training
• Electrical Troubleshooting & Preventive
• Electrical Maintenance training / course
• Valid Driver’s License

The physical demands described here must be met by employee to successfully perform the essential functions

• Must possess the ability to stand, climb and frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders, etc.).
• Regularly required install / move equipment.
• Ability to walk and transverse property to facility work.
• Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
• Ability to read and understand information presented orally and in writing.

$30 - $32 an hour Pay : $ hourly The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
