PR462934419 We have an open position for a Medical Administrative Assistant In this role you will help organize and maintain operational functions as well as support day-to-day operations by performing administrative tasks and ensuring high-quality customer service for our patients.

Monday-Friday 8am-4 : 30pm$19-$23hr Essential Duties

• Checkout all patients
• Schedule, coordinate, and confirm appointments, including appointments at endoscopy centers and hospitals; provide preparation details for scheduled procedures.
• Arrange cardiac clearance for procedures.
• Manage imaging orders, distribute lab slips, coordinate tests such as Prometheus, and breath tests; and request medical records.
• Assist with prior authorizations for imaging, medications, and procedures.
• Scan procedure reports, medical lists, and PIFs
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including mailing recall letters, and preps for patients that have been scheduled by remote staff.
• Provide administrative assistance in the absence of Medical Secretaries
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Keep up to date with changes in medical and insurance legislation.
