Abile Group, Inc. is Hiring a HR & Recruiting Coordinator Near Annapolis, MD

Overview

Abile Group, Inc. is an exciting, growing, innovative woman owned small business government contractor. We are seeking an intelligent, caring, and highly motivated full time HR & Recruiting Coordinator in the DC Metro area, for a junior level role. We are looking for a driven candidate interested in the recruiting field that wants to learn and grow with us! The right candidate will be ready and willing to work with the Technical Recruiting Team to aide in the fulfillment of the responsibilities below. 

Responsibilities

The HR & Recruiting Coordinator will work under the mentorship and supervision of the recruiting team and senior staff members to gain valuable on-the-job training and real-world work experience. They will support Abile’s efforts to consistently work toward greater efficiency and effectiveness by offering improved processes and fresh ideas, and by leveraging smart technologies, while becoming familiar with the government contracting work environment as a viable and fulfilling career path. Working Hours will be a full-time schedule between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday in a virtual environment. The following are responsibilities and experiences you should expect: 

Recruiting 

  • Support full lifecycle recruiting processes and participate in the full lifecycle process 
  • Leverage the iCIMS recruiting platform, to support and document candidate consideration 
  • Post jobs externally via our iCIMS platform 
  • Participate in weekly meetings (leadership and recruiting meetings) and provide ideas and creative input to our evolving processes 
  • Support preparation and representation for upcoming job fairs, to include pulling together marketing documents and coordinating with sponsors of the event 
  • Other Recruiting related tasks as assigned 

Onboarding and HR 

  • Aide HR and Recruiting in maintaining candidate checklists through the Onboarding process. 
  • Support candidate lifecycle process. This includes:
    • Maintaining candidate information and files 
    • Distributing required forms to candidates 
    • Drafting offer letters and other correspondence 
    • Utilizing DocuSign to send out offer letters and security briefing packages 
  • Other Onboarding and HR related tasks as assigned 

Candidate Outreach Programs 

  • Support Veteran outreach programs, including Skillbridge 
  • Support creation of engaging text, image and video content for social media campaigns 
  • Design posts to sustain candidate’s curiosity and creating interest around Abile and open positions 
  • Support internal communication projects

Qualifications

Clearance Required: Candidate does not need a current security clearance but must pass a background investigation and must be eligible to be processed for a Top Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Degree and Years of Experience: Applications will be considered from candidates who have 1-2 years of experience working in a professional office environment and an Associate’s Degree. Both a degree and work experience are required.

Required Skills:

  • Interest in supporting the National Security mission and community
  • Attend meetings and events in the Metro DC area 1-2 days per week
  • Proven consistent success working in team and office environments
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, communication, and time management skills
  • Interest in recruiting or HR field, teamwork, and relationship building
  • Ability to work independently and to effectively manage time and priorities
  • Previous ATS or iCIMS system knowledge/usage preferred
  • Professional LinkedIn page and social media familiarity
  • Strong technical writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel strongly preferred
