Aberdeen Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing is Hiring a Medical Records/Central Supply Near Trenton, MI

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for assuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment in the facility. This position plays a key role in the infection control program of the facility.

*Supervisory Responsibilities- Housekeeping Aides

Support Services:

  • Develop and assure adherence to a cleaning schedule that addresses all areas of the facility.
  • Assure cleaning products, equipment and procedures are I compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets on all cleaning products.
  • Hire, train and supervise a sufficient number of housekeeping staff to assure assigned tasks are effectively addressed.
  • Meet regularly with direct report staff to provide supervision and assure open communication.
  • Conduct and document annual performance evaluations on direct report staff.
  • Provide input into the budget relative to housekeeping needs and comply with budgetary guidelines.
  • Assure that housekeeping services are in compliance with Mariner Post Acute Network policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs.
  • Prepare and submit reports as requested.
  • Assure housekeeping staff participation in relevant in-service training sessions.
  • Attend and participate in facility meetings, including those relating to Infection Control/Safety/Quality Improvement, as assigned.
  • Access continuing education opportunities appropriate to responsibilities.
  • Direct implementation of corrective action needed as a result of internal or external inspections.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks, as required by Mariner standard of excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Central Supply Clerk works closely with the Ancillary Billing Coordinator to facilitate receipt and distribution of supplies. This employee is responsible for maintaining the stock room.

Support Services:

  • Assist with supply check-in time of delivery and verify against purchase orders.
  • Forward purchase orders and packing slips to Accounts Payable.
  • Distribute supplies to appropriate locations.
  • Maintain a cost requisition system.
  • Assure that the stock room is clean, safe and orderly.
  • Mark all appropriate supplies for use with the TRIAD inventory system.
  • Obtain data on chargeable supplies used by each resident and transfer the information into the TRIAD system daily.
  • Assist with daily and monthly physical inventory.
  • Demonstrates satisfactory level of interpersonal skills to interact with facility staff, Administration, residents, families, vendors and government agencies.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and respect for the rights, dignity and individuality of each resident in all interactions.
  • Demonstrates honesty and integrity at all times in the care and use of resident and facility property.
  • Know or emergency and disaster procedures of the facility.
  • Demonstrates respect fir co-workers and responds to needs or residents by complying with facility policies.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks/responsibilities and complete duties within allotted time.
  • Ability to carry out the essential functions of this job (with or without reasonable accommodation).
  • Assure participation in relevant in-service training sessions.
  • Attend and participate in facility meetings, including those relating to Infection Control/Safety/Quality Improvement, as assigned.
  • Access continuing education opportunities appropriate to responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
