AARP is Hiring a Multimedia Production Analyst Near Washington, DC

AARP's Integrated Communications and Marketing (ICM) Group includes Membership, Content and Editorial, Customer Experience, External Relations, Brand Strategy and Strategic Communications. Across paid, earned, shared and owned channels, ICM manages AARP's reputation, drives engagement and member growth, and showcases AARP's mission and value through one, integrated voice.

The Multimedia Production Analyst works with cross-function teams to assist with content production in collaboration with stakeholders. The Analyst works on tasks, processes, and schedules to assist the editorial teams in developing creative content. Ensures that the final product adheres to established timelines, style guides, and accurately conveys the desired message. Collaborates with management to identify opportunities to streamline production processes and to develop new procedures that support the business unit/ department.

Responsibilities
  • Works closely with stakeholders to optimize content messaging and style.
  • Supports the pre-production, production, and post-production of assigned tasks.
  • Supports the day-to-day production process for digital and/or other content platforms.
  • Coordinates with editorial teams and internal stakeholders to ensure that the products and performance of digital content engage the 50 demographic and amplifies the organization's social mission.
  • Conducts quality assurance checks on assigned tasks.
  • Supports constructive and productive partnerships with the organizations internal and external stakeholders in support of the overall mission of the business units.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in web production in a workflow environment.
  • Experience using a content or event management system. CVENT preferred.
  • Ability to produce accurate data for reporting purposes, using applications, such as Excel and Adobe.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a keen attention to detail, and to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to meet goals and objectives, while working in a collaborative, matrixed environment.

Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA)AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as telecommuting workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work and telecommuting can only be done within the United States and its territories.
