AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking for a Facilities Technician II to join our team in Downtown Portland!

This position supports troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs and projects of AAA Oregon/Idaho facilities. Enhance facility-related vendor relationships during tasks, and develop new partnerships as needed. This position also will provide back up support the Facilities supervisor and guidance to Facilities Technician I. There may be opportunities to lead projects as needed.

Desired Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of facilities maintenance.
• Valid Drivers’ License and clean driving records required.
• CPR/First Aid certification highly preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and building systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, physically active environment.
• Highly responsive with ability to prioritize and work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Prior experience in a customer service role preferred.
• Strong service attitude with ability to work with diverse groups of colleagues, members, and vendors.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, overtime may be required. Physical attendance at the job site is an essential duty.
