Under the supervision of the Branch Manager, makes direct sales calls to generate new business, provides customer service to rental customers, and ensures the timely, pickup/delivery and cleanliness of vehicles to customers.
What you will do:

• Ensures that vehicles are delivered to customers in clean condition: including vacuuming/cleaning carpeting, wiping down/disinfecting interior and washing exterior in an outside environment 12 months a year. Ensures that vehicles are in operable condition by filling fluids, adjusting tire pressure, filling with gasoline, handling registrations, processing inspections/oil changes/new tires, and any other maintenance issues. Providing customer service on-site and phone calls with all rental customers including Hertz Gold members, contracted rentals, and insurance replacements. Handle customer inquiries regarding processing/modifying/canceling reservations, closing out returns, billing issues, vehicle maintenance, and vehicle exchanges. Pick up insurance replacement customers and deliver contracted rate rentals. Review daily manifest and coordinate vehicle movement in the territory to ensure enough inventory is available for reservation needs.
• Makes outside sales calls to high-volume customers (5 calls per week) such as travel agencies, car dealers, repair facilities, body shops, and insurance agencies to increase awareness and sales of rental cars.
• Collaborates with regional Hertz sales reps to execute sales initiatives.

Education
Associate's Degree equivalency plus 3 months of relevant sales experience Required

Experience

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and Internet usage Required

Licenses and Certifications
