Title - IT Support Technician
Location - Hillsboro, OR (will be working in an office setting in multiple buildings)
Duration - 3 months contract-to-hire
Pay Rate - $23/hr
Responsibilities -
- Handling requests for support of software/hardware that are not supported by the regular IT support group
- Putting OS on client laptops/desktops/tablets, configuration of laptops/desktops/tablets and client data migration.
- Advanced break/fix support of software/hardware issues for clients.
- Managing and updating tickets via the client's ticketing database.
- Flexibility changing directions within an hour, sometimes less.
- Traveling between buildings using personal vehicle/via foot
Qualifications -
- 3-5 years technical experience desired.
- Clean room experience is required
- A certification required within 90 days of start date.
- Windows/Linux imaging.
- Advanced Windows OS troubleshooting.
- Basic server imaging with limited troubleshooting.
- Basic Linux OS troubleshooting.
- Basic printer support and troubleshooting.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. solo. May be required to walk/sit/stand/crawl/kneel for extended periods.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel and Word primarily) and Windows 7, 8 and 10.
