```Duties```
- Oversee and manage the estimating process for construction projects
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Utilize construction management software such as HeavyBid to create and track estimates
- Analyze project requirements and develop strategies to optimize cost control and maximize profitability
- Prepare and present estimates to clients, including detailed breakdowns of labor, materials, and other project costs
- Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and pricing
- Monitor project budgets throughout the construction process and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates
```Qualifications```
- Proven experience in construction estimating, including knowledge of industry best practices and standards
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project documents and specifications
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Solid understanding of cost control principles and the ability to develop strategies for optimizing project profitability
- Experience in project management, including the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
