Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Duties:
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate person
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry
- Assist with event planning and coordination, including scheduling meetings, booking venues, and arranging catering
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas and office spaces
- Provide support to other departments as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Customer-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
