Job #18839: Full-time Nanny Needed For A Busy Family in Dallas, TX: (Abrams Rd and Velasco Ave.)
Message from Mom: Hello! We love Jesus, traveling, outdoors, and are highly social & active. My husband owns his own multi-family insurance business, management company, and real estate hedge fund—meaning he is very busy with work and travel. I am a stay-at-home mom, but also help my husband with our personal real estate portfolio. On top of taking care of our beautiful two daughters, along with managing the household, I design & build homes. We have had part-time care in the past. However, my work load has become a lot heavier recently and we love to travel with our children, which is all becoming complicated without full-time care. We are looking for a live-in or live-out nanny to be a part of our family. With all of this said, we hope to find the perfect fit to help our busy family!
Our Household Routine: We have a full-time housekeeper, so will not require much in terms of household chores. We also have a rambunctious golden retriever, and are about to add a new black lab puppy to the mix, and we will need someone who loves dogs and is willing to help feed, play, and walk with them. Most importantly, we are a 100% gluten-free household as our two girls and I have Celiac Disease. Both girls are also dairy intolerant. The girls go to school Monday- Thursday from 9:00am-2:00pm, and Fridays from 9:00am-12:00pm. They have dance on Tuesdays, and soccer on Fridays. They are also about to start swim lessons again. On school nights, we will need help packing lunches/backpacks and getting outfits ready for the next day.
About the Children: Our oldest daughter is 4 years old. Some of her favorite things are reading, dance & cheer, swim, crafts, Jesus, princesses, dress up, gardening, and going to the park. She is outgoing, intelligent, articulate, empathetic, perseverant/ strong-willed and highly sensitive.
Our youngest daughter is 2 years old. She enjoys dance & cheer, Jesus, reading, swim, crafts, princesses, dress up, gardening, and going to the park. She is also strong-willed.
Their Ideal Nanny:
- Reliable and punctual
- Organized and prepared
- Outgoing
- Flexible
- Adaptable
- Excellent communicator
- Creative and fun
- Easily connects and engages with children and parents
- Enjoys the outdoors
Live-in Accommodations: In our current home, there's a split unit, with the Nanny area residing upstairs. This space is fully equipped with its own bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen.
We're currently remodeling a new home, and upon its completion, the Nanny will have her very own cozy condo located at the back of the property.
Travel: It is vital that we find someone who is able to travel with our family, which is somewhat frequent. We take vacations throughout the year, and require our nanny to travel with us when we take the kids. We will pay all expenses while traveling, and give the nanny time off while there. Some of the places we frequent while traveling include Steamboat Springs, CO, Aspen, CO, Seaside, FL, Nantucket, MA, Cabo, Mexico, and some other abroad trips.
