Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to patients with SUD/mental health conditions. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with SUD. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need.

Duties:

- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments

- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients

- Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness

- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care

- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment

- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options

- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases

Qualifications:

- Valid nursing license in Maryland

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing

- Strong knowledge of SUD and behavioral management treatments, and medications

- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients

- Proficient in administering injections and performing basic medical procedures (e.g., suturing)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in occupational health or emergency room settings

Note: All positions at our facility are paid positions, including internships.

Pay: $53.79 - $59.29 per hour
