A F C TOOL COMPANY INC is Hiring a Sales/ Account Manager Near Dayton, OH

Description

AFC Tool Co., a division of FC Industries, Inc., is expanding our presence in the aerospace/defense and precision manufacturing market. As a result, our team needs an experienced Sales/Account Manager with strong knowledge of AS9100 QMS, precision machining and tooling. In this important role you will contact customers and potential customers to gather information, estimate projects, prepare quotes, and manage awarded business through the manufacturing process to ensure that customer requirements are met.

Your duties will include;

  • Ability to develop quotes by partnering with existing suppliers, researching alternatives, and working with teammates.
  • Skill with communicating across diverse teams of customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 QMS
  • Responsible for Customer development, ongoing service of existing customers. 
  • Acquire and develop customer relationships, making initial and follow up visits, including quoting and sales presentations.
  • Maintain existing customers, interfacing with purchasing, engineering and quality.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Responsible for pricing and adjustments.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of employees and outside personnel.
  • Follow work instructions, procedures, and company policies.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

- Previous Sales Experience, preferably in one of the following area’s Tooling, Aerospace, special equipment, government contracting.

- A minimum of 3-5 Years Sales/ Account Manager Experience 

- Direct Sales experience with emphasis on major accounts 

- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience Preferred

- A plus if you bring in your own network of contacts

- Able to read blueprints and general knowledge of Tooling and Machining.

- Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and formal and group presentations.

- Ability to meet and deal effectively with clients, employees, and the general public.

- Occasional travel inside the US.
