A.C. Vroman, Inc. dba Vroman's Bookstore and Book Soup is Hiring an Accounting Clerk Near Pasadena, CA
This is a non-exempt part-time position (24 hours per week) Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. The Accounting Clerk reports directly to the Controller. This is an hourly position and wages depend on experience, but no experience is required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Entering debit memos
- Entering, printing, and mailing of freight claim debit memos to vendors.
- Matching and reconciling internal debit memos to vendor credit memos.
- Following up with vendors regarding debit memos that we have not received credit for.
- Assisting with the seasonal drop as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma with some accounts payable experience
- Minimum proficiency in Windows and Office 2000 or newer
- Experience with Sage or iMerchant a plus, not required.
The ideal candidate is dependable, consistent, organized, detail-oriented, and can work well independently and with co-workers.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
