Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Currently seeking caregivers to work weekends but we are also able to hire for flexible schedules.
Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to clients, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing client's living space
- Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Assist with behavior management and redirection when necessary
Skills:
- Experience in senior care or patient care is preferred
- Knowledge of ADLs and ability to provide personal care
- Familiarity with vital sign monitoring and basic medical procedures
- Ability to provide direct support to individuals with diverse needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassion, patience, and empathy towards others
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy
- Knowledge of home care safety practices
