The role of the IT Support Specialist will be focused on all aspects of the company’s IT infrastructure including server hardware, applications, and databases. Will also provide Helpdesk as a primary function.

Major Goals and Responsibilities:

Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities. Incumbent will be required to satisfactorily perform all essential functions of the job.

• Performs routine support for IT Customers
• Serves as initial primary point of contact to Manage IT Client end users.
• Entry-level best practices for providing front line support.
• Ensures the proper workflow is followed on all incidents, while placing heightened attention on all critical and high priority incidents
• Taking initial telephone inquiries and troubleshooting relatively simple hardware, software, or network problems
• Monitor incoming tickets and alerts in the responds accordingly from the helpdesk.
• Field IT Support when needed to install or replace IT hardware.

Qualifications Required:

• Direct experience with Microsoft computer operation systems and associated hardware
• Experience with VMware, Asure, and other Virtual platform preferred
• Experience with Fire walls, Routers, and Switches Preferred
