Delivery Driver
Location: Kalamazoo, MI, 49009
Skills Required:
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift heavy packages and navigate stairs and other obstacles
- Prior delivery experience preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and equipment in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Pass drug screening and background check to include driving record
Responsibilities:
- Deliver items to job sites in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure packages are delivered to the correct address and recipient
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Assist the Asset Manager in warehouse and tool room organization
- Perform minor maintenance on tools, equipment and delivery vehicles
