We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee our construction projects in Kalamazoo, MI. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, from planning and design to implementation and completion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
- Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and project team members
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process
- Ensure quality control and project delivery on time and within budget
- Hold Kick Off Meetings and hand job over to Foreman
- Discuss 4 week look ahead for labor forecasting
- Assist in preparing monthly billings.
- Attend weekly job progress meetings
- Release equipment as needed
- Analyze project hours and profitability
- Quality walk-thru
- Close Outs
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
