We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented macOS Endpoint Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to create, administer, and troubleshoots configuration profiles and policies within Jamf MDM console to manage and maintain compliance within the enterprise. What You'll Be Doing: Daily administration of macOS endpoints (MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, Mac Pro, etc.) via 3rd part console (i.e. Jamf Management Console or Tanium Management Console) Creates, administers, and troubleshoots configuration profiles and policies within Jamf MDM console to manage and maintain compliance within the enterprise. Utilize Jamf Pro MDM console to maintain compliance via policies, configuration profiles. Collaborates with the SOC, NOC, and Information Administration teams to document, test, and publish requested applications following a department approval procedure for the purpose of documenting, supporting, and enhancing user requested technology while maintaining compliance. Collaborate with the Service Desk and T2 End User compute teams to create troubleshooting knowledge base articles geared toward both IT and end users for daily support to address common and advanced issues. Participates and collaborates effectively in a team environment for the purpose of ensuring success of the whole department. Performs software installations, upgrades, and security and maintenance patches to client operating systems and application software through Jamf / Tanium, and creates and maintains device security policies for the purpose of managing and protecting our macOS endpoints. Responds to inquiries from a variety of sources (i.e. security, network administrators, security teams, end-users and IT support staff) for the purpose of providing technical assistance, advice and support. Collaborate with Asset Management and Asset Depot teams to establish hardware standards and address compliance concerns with existing enterprise security posture. Troubleshoots application software for the purpose of isolating bugs and resolving issues and/or providing user training. Implement CMMC compliance through the creation of various polices and configuration profiles across the enterprise. Provide advanced troubleshooting in escalated cases via enterprise case management tool. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and solving problems in a Mac environment; 8 or more years of general endpoint experience Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Corporate team.
