Job Description: Field Technician
7NT Engineering is currently seeking a Field Technician to fill a full-time position. Be a part of a dynamic team with a leading Construction Testing and Engineering firm. We are looking for a team oriented, quality minded, and motivated individual. Professional development and growth is encouraged, with advancement opportunities available.
The position will be full time on a construction site. Previous concrete testing experience is desired.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Required for long term local construction contracts.
· Performing construction material sample collection, preparation, testing and inspection.
· Must ensure material meets project and clients requirements.
· Write and log field data reports and coordinate testing with the testing laboratory.
· Beginning as a Field Technician with the goal of transitioning to Resident/Project Inspector.
· Good communications skills are required to liaise with the client, contractor and construction crews.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Capable of working efficiently in a high-pressure environment with minimal or no guidance
· ACI Level I Required or Capable of Obtaining
· Associates or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
· Engineering Intern Certification Favorable but not necessary
· 2-3 Years of Experience Preferred but not necessary
· Physically Capable of carrying 75 lbs. unassisted. Job will require you to be active and carry some equipment.
· All work will take place in Indianapolis area.
· Clean driving record.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen, and criminal background check. 7NT Engineering is an equal opportunity employer.
