The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant with a focus on revenue operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in revenue accounting processes, adhoc invoicing, and proficiency in Salesforce and Netsuite platforms. The role will primarily involve supporting the revenue manager in various tasks related to revenue recognition, invoicing, collections, and providing additional general accounting support to the accounting team.

Role Expectations & Requirements:

• Assist the revenue manager in closing won processes from Salesforce to Netsuite.
• Manage Salesforce-Netsuite invoicing integration processes, ensuring smooth flow of data between systems.
• Generate and issue customer invoices in alignment with the established accounting cadence.
• Handle adhoc invoicing requests efficiently, accurately and according to SOP.
• Support collections efforts by following up with customers on outstanding invoices.
• Monitor the Accounts Payable (AP) inbox and provide assistance to the accounting team as needed.
• Prepare and process AP transactions on a weekly and adhoc basis.
• Manage the accounting compliance calendar and related filing deadlines.
• Provide additional accounting support as required by the team to be a conduit between AR, AP, HR (payroll, benefits, taxes), compliance, and general accounting functions,

Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on revenue operations.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Netsuite platforms is required.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Tenured professionals with a proven track record of success are preferred.
• Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated and work well on own or as a member of a team.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload.
