721 Logistics is seeking a full stack web developer who is passionate about utilizing open source frameworks to create applications that will increase data visibility and efficiency through automation for both our employees and customers. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and collaborative team member that has the patience to learn the current business processes and attack/improve them with technology!
Responsibilities
- Ability to work both independently, as well as with small groups (employees and customers)
- Ability to learn and react quickly to confidently identify and troubleshoot issues
- Assist in developing and documenting employee and customers requirements
- Ability to develop solutions to satisfy employee and customer requirements
- Backend Development - design databases/APIs/MQs/data integrations
- Frontend Development - design simple, mobile-friendly, uninterrupted experiences
- Occasionally be willing to support help desk team during peak times of the year
Qualifications
- BS Computer Science/Engineering or 2-3 years experience developing applications
- Must have experience with Virtual Machines, prefer VMware or Proxmox
- Must have experience with Linux Distros
- Must have experience with Git
- Must have experience with PostGreSQL/MySQL
- Prefer backend experience developing a RESTful API with frameworks such as PHP/Laravel, Python/FastAPI, NodeJS/Express, and/or Spring/Spring Boot
- Prefer front experience with Javascript frameworks, specifically AngularJS/React
- Prefer MQ experience, such as ActiveMQ
- Prefer experience with integrations/webservices, specifically EDI/API/REST/SOAP
- Experience with mobile development is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365/Azure/Graph is a plus
- Experience with Amazon Web Services is a plus
- Experience in Logistics/Customs Brokerage/Freight Forwarding/ACE is a plus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
