Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Responsibilities: - Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience - Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system - Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision - Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and reconcile discrepancies - Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services - Assist with product demos and promotions to drive sales - Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked - Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and provide excellent customer service - Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges Requirements: - Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required - Strong time management and organizational skills - Bilingual skills (if applicable) are a plus - Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems is desirable - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
