Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and creating high-quality sushi dishes for our customers. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for Japanese cuisine. Duties: - Prepare sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards - Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation - Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers - Assist in inventory management and ordering of sushi ingredients - Stay updated on current industry trends and techniques related to sushi preparation Skills: - Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations - Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment - Proficient knife skills for precise cutting and slicing of ingredients - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills - Strong communication and teamwork abilities If you have a passion for sushi, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and have the skills necessary to create delicious sushi dishes, we would love to hear from you.
