Essential duties and Responsibilities

• Opens entry door for all arriving and departing guests.
• Greets each guest that arrives or departs with a friendly and sincere welcome or goodbye.
• Ensure that parked cars are locked and that keys are stored safely or returned to the owner.
• Must be able to safely drive both manual and automatic operating vehicles.
• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Neat appearance and upkeep of Company uniform.
• Ensure cleanliness of vehicles upon guests’ retrieval.
• Completes valet forms and logs accurately and thoroughly.
• Reads log book on a daily basis.
• Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return
• Park guests' vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following all traffic laws in a safe manner.
• Operate vehicles safely and responsibility.
• Organize and file paperwork regarding guests' vehicles and daily transactions.
• Accountability and personal integrity are essential as the nature of the position allows access to a client's personal and private information.
• Ability to multitask and tend to several customers at once.
• Must recall the location of vehicles and their appropriate keys in a prompt manner.
• Keeps front entrance and neighboring area clean.
• Assists guest with maps and directions to local attractions.
• Provides accurate information regarding any incidents.
• Remains calm and attentive, especially during heavy restaurant/event activity and emergencies.
• Reports all accidents, major or minor, to Manager immediately.
• Retrieves and inputs necessary data from a computer terminal in an accurate, error-free manner.
• Anticipates guest needs and is proactive in meeting those needs.
• Demonstrates knowledge of minor Housekeeping and Maintenance work.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
• Delivers messages and runs errands.
• Keeps record of calls for service.
• Tidies guest and valet parking areas.
• Supports other department staff and communicate with them to ensure smooth operations
• Understands and act in accordance with the corporate philosophy
• Works with people in the surrounding area and with vendors
• Receives and manages tips from guests to the restaurant
• Works in the rain or outdoors
• Hands claims from guests.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• English typing and basic use skills.
• Valid Driver’s License (Must meet company driver's abstract requirements).
• Must meet background check requirements applicable to the central job duties of the position
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon start date
