4 Corners is looking for an Associate Estimator that can help with initial project budget assessments, refine estimates during design phases to ensure budget compliance, negotiate alterations during construction/installation, and compile post-project cost summaries. This an onsite and permanent opening with one of Floridas largest hospitality and tourism organization.
SCOPE OF RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Generate initial budget assessments for new projects, incorporating refinement as needed.
• Develop estimates for all changes during construction/installation phases, collaborating with project teams across different locations.
• Update project estimates throughout design phases (blue sky, concept, schematic, design development, and construction document phases).
• Establish and manage a cost comparison database for various attractions and non-attraction facilities.
• Collaborate with project teams to create "value engineering" components, researching and presenting alternative materials or methodologies for consideration.
• Research market conditions for cost trends and local means/methods, developing location-specific cost and escalation factors domestically and internationally.
• Compile comprehensive project cost summaries upon project completion.
• Actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities, adhering to established UO policies, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
• Perform other assigned duties.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Associate's degree or technical school required.
• 5 years on-site construction and estimating experience on themed entertainment projects, with knowledge of show and ride estimating and facility impacts; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
