30hop Restaurant in Coralville, IA is looking for a part-time Prep Cook to join our team! We pride ourselves on providing an upbeat fun experience along with an incredibly high level of standard in cleanliness, quality, and service. Our kitchen pushes out quality food with multiple types of cuisine.

Pay: Starting at $15.00/hour and up based on experience

Schedule: Part-time. Weekend availability is a must.

Prep Cook Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine kitchen tasks.
• Follow the prep list created to plan duties.
• Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible.
• Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking.
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep.
• Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
• Undertake basic cooking duties, such as reducing sauces and parboiling food.
• Prepare simple dishes, such as salads and entrees.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and removing trash.
• Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 18 years of age
• 1 years of prep cook experience
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs and stand for long periods of time.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
