Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team located in the Morrow GA area! The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order and that all maintenance tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
• Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
• Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries

Additional duties:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing or replacing defective equipment parts
• Fabricate parts as needed to repair or replace equipment
• Use CMMS software to track maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion of work orders
• Provide excellent customer service to internal customers such as production teams and external customers such as vendors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in maintenance or related field
• Experience with CMMS software
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
