29 Acre’s living community is located in Crossroads Texas approximately 30 miles north of Dallas. Located near the shores of Lake Lewisville, 29 Acres is a quiet community yet is only minutes away from the University of North Texas and all the major services and activities of the Dallas metroplex. It is easily accessible from several highways serving the North Texas area.
Position Summary

The Enrich Coordinator manages the operations of their specified locations/houses. The Enrich Coordinator is the direct supervisor to the Life Skills Coaches in the assigned location. They are responsible for providing assistance to clients with their planned goals, recreational activities (e.g. lake sports, swimming, rock climbing), vocational opportunities, life skills and personal care and the training of the clients’ staff in the aforementioned areas. Additionally, they contribute to daily programing schedules, events, and other special projects.

Position Qualifications
  • Preferred: A bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Required: Minimum of an associate degree or credits equivalent to Junior in College (at least 60 hours)
  • Required: RBT Certification
  • Required: Company trainings: CPR, First Aid, CPI or Safety Care
  • Preferred: 2 years experience working with individuals with ASD or intellectual disabilities
  • Required: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Required: Must hold a valid Texas driver’s license and possess an acceptable driving record.
  • Required: Working conditions include:
    • Environments include indoor (e.g. office, house, classroom), and outdoor with resultant climate variations.
    • May include required strength/endurance (e.g. lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, etc.), exposure to injury (e.g. biting, hitting, kicking) and/or other hazards (e.g. bodily fluids)
    • Must have the physical ability to respond appropriately to situations that require first aid or CPR.
  • Must be able to assist clients in emergency situations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Responsibilities
  • Conduct staff training for new staff as they progress through their 30-60-90, as well as ongoing training as directed by BCBA or Sr. Director of Enrich.
  • Managerial responsibilities include 30-60-90-day training, annual reviews, 1:1 staff coaching and disciplinary meetings, emergency fill in staff call-outs as needed.
  • Frequent parent communication as agreed upon in the COS meeting.
  • Fill-in as direct support under an emergency and/or as needed basis for advancing programming and training.
  • Assisting the Director of Enrich- Cross Roads with intake and trail day needs.
  • Provide life skills training to assist clients in planning activities, vocational training, daily life skills, budgeting, cooking, social and other programs.
  • Collect data, observe client behavior as directed based on their plans.
  • Ensure safety and welfare (e.g. assist clients with taking medication on schedule, administering CPR and first aid if necessary)
  • Serve as an advocate for clients.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with other professionals while maintaining a “can do” attitude.
  • Responsible for creating quarterly update reports for clients.
  • Will attend weekly meetings with the Life Skills Coaches and BCBAs for updates and collaboration on an as needed basis.
  • Support the Enrich Coordinator - Evenings and Weekends in planning for property and enrich programming. Help to execute the success of these events.
  • Support volunteer opportunities: liaison to discover and secure additional volunteer opportunities.
  • Perform other assignments as delegated by the Director of Enrich
  • Manage the calendar for assigned houses and employees while blocking schedules to reach different shifts.
